Customs, Duties & Taxes
Occasionally, international customers have had to pay extra fees for customs, duties and taxes. These extra fees vary widely from country to country. Since I have no control over these annoying extra charges levied by destination countries, I highly recommend that you research the policies specific to your country. Also, when customs clearance procedures are necessary, delays can be caused that will increase the time it takes to arrive. I will of course endeavour to help you with this as much as I can.
Returns
Every item produced by Bricolage is made to the highest quality. Please do contact me immediately if you have any concerns when you receive your Bricolage items and I will do my best to resolve your query. All items are securely packaged before they leave the studio and each package includes information on the care of the item purchased. Bricolage products may be returned for a credit note within 30 days of original purchase, provided they are unopened and in "like-new" condition. Any shipping on returns will be at the expense of the buyer. The returned goods must include a copy of the receipt, your e-mail address, shipping address and phone.
Linen may only be returned if defective. Samples are usually dispatched prior to confirmation of an order. Unfortunately we cannot accept return of linen due to colour preference or 'change of mind'. We will offer a credit note instead.
Please be aware that, as linen is a natural product, there may be natural colour shadings and slubs which occur in the hand weaving of the cloth.
Commissions
All quilts and presentation bags are designed, machine-pieced, quilted and assembled by me. I use 100% cotton batting.
Because each quilt contains hand-stitching, there will be slight variations, which add to the individuality of each piece. If the quilt is a commission, it may take up to 6 weeks to complete. Upon purchase I will contact you with all the relevant details about delivery, time-frame and expected delivery date.
Damaged Goods
Any damaged goods must be returned with the original receipt, your e-mail address, postal address and phone number. With proper care, your quilt or product should last for many years to come. However, no cloth is indestructible. Should you require a repair, please contact me with a description of what happened and I'd be happy to help you out. If the repair is a result of undue wear and tear, a small fee will apply.
Packaging
We will endeavour to pack your item as safely and ethically as possibly. Please reuse our packaging if you can, or recycle it after use.
Making
Quite often our items are made in batches, so if there is ever any delay with an item we will keep you informed at all times. We appreciate you choosing to purchase from us and as the saying goes 'assure you of our best attention at all times' ;) Sinead
